Honibe is proud to sponsor Winnipeg’s Team Zacharias, who represented Canada and won gold at the 2020 World Junior Curling Championships. Team Zacharias will be competing next season in the Women’s World Curling Tour, with the goal of qualifying for the 2021 Road to the Roar Olympic pre-trials.
Honibe is proud to sponsor Thomas Hums—a Canadian track cyclist hailing from Sudbury, Ontario. In 2010, he was selected for Canada’s National Team, and in 2011 he participated in the World Championships. After a hiatus to recover from an injury and complete his university studies, his goals for 2020 include participating in the Team Sprint event in the National Championships—if they’re allowed to take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While training remotely from his home in Sudbury, Thomas currently teaches physical education, and is looking forward to once again donning the Team Canada colours.
