CHARLOTTETOWN, PE, JUNE 1, 2021 – Honibe® announced today that they will be hosting a free flower giveaway on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 at the Island Abbey Food Sciences manufacturing facility.

In support of International Pollinator Week (June 21-27th, 2021), Honibe is giving away 2 free flowers to the first 250 groups of people who come through their drive-thru flower giveaway on Saturday, June 19th. Along with the free flowers, attendees will also receive some free Honibe product samples.

Scott Spencer, President of Honibe sees the value that this event can bring to the community. “As a company who believes in the power of honey, we also care about the protection of pollinators and want to do our best to make sure our community supports them,” says Spencer. “We believe that by giving away a total of 500 flowers to community members on Prince Edward Island, pollinators will feel more invited to our gardens, therefore helping support them. If this event is as successful as we think it will be, we hope to make it an annual event.”

Attendees will be able to stop by the drive-thru event on Saturday, June 19th, at Island Abbey Food Sciences (20 Innovation Way), starting at 9:00 am until supplies last. All attendees will receive 2 pollinator friendly flowers, and some free Honibe product samples.
