The Production Associate is responsible for working on the production line. They perform a variety of duties including loading ingredients into industrial cooking equipment, monitoring the machinery during cooking, mixing, and packaging processes to ensure our product quality standards are being met.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load raw ingredients into the cooking machine following company standards and formulations
  • Program equipment to operate according to company and formulation standards and make changes as required
  • Monitor food cooking machines and adjust the controls as necessary
  • React to alarms or malfunctions of the equipment and operate the shut-off switch when necessary
  • Remove finished product from production line and push batches to the next step of process for packaging
  • Verify that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company by observing the size, and shape of each item
  • Sanitize all materials and machinery parts at the end of each shift and clean the workspace in accordance with company cleanliness standards

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school graduation or GED required
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety and operating procedures in food production
  • Knowledge of basic math as well as English reading and writing skills
  • Ability to read instructions and recipes to assemble ingredients
  • Experience in a production environment is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices is an asset
  • Ability to work shift work in a 24/7 production environment

Production Shift Supervisor

The Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to ensure successful day to day operations. The focus of this role is to organize shift tasks to meet output goals while ensuring quality and safety.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, manage, and develop production employees to achieve the necessary capabilities and culture for an efficient, clean, and safe operation
  • Work with Senior Management to develop and coordinate production schedule to meet both short- and long-term goals of the business
  • With guidance from the Production Manager, manage staff attendance and performance issues and conduct annual reviews
  • Train employees on, and enforce compliance of, SOPs, GMPs and other company policies
  • Continually work to improve efficiencies of the shift operation

POSITION: S&OP Planner

REPORTS TO: Purchasing/Logistics Manager

We are currently looking for an individual to fulfill a cross functional role to support effective supply chain management.   This person will be responsible for successful application of the monthly S&OP process including data reporting and analytics. This role plays a critical role bridging the needs of the commercial business partners with the capabilities of the operations business partners. The S&OP Planner keeps all participants in the process on track and moving toward resolution of the demand and supply plans.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage weekly S&OP process to establish production rates and schedule to achieve management objectives of maintaining, raising, or lowering inventory
  • Identify potential gaps in demand/supply forecast and resolve issues
  • Plan for challenges, including new product launches, promotions, changes in customer buying patterns, unplanned events, natural disasters, and seasonality

Quality Assurance Coordinator

The Quality Assurance Coordinator assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good quality systems, validating processes, providing documentation and control procedures to build quality parameters to mitigate quality risks.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in maintaining Food Safety Management System to ensure food safety at all stages of the operation.
  • Assist to manage all aspects of document control for the site’s quality programs, including development and implementation of procedures and forms to support quality and food safety systems.
  • Assist in delivering training and orientation materials about GMP, HACCP and related topics
  • Assist in corrective actions program, including verification of corrective actions completion and their effectiveness.
  • Responsible for application and verification on all logistic regulatory paperwork required for export to all international customers.
  • Assist in developing and conducting programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards of raw and packaging materials, finished products, and environment.
  • Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of policies and programs
  • Responsible to approve new suppliers and new ingredients and maintaining the supplier approval program.
  • Responsible for coordinating with 3rd party lab for managing raw and finished product, and environmental monitoring activities.
  • Assist to perform internal audits and fully document root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
  • The position will assist in inspections and audits by regulatory agencies, customers, and third-party agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards
  • Handle vendor and customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking
  • Provide regular support to Sr Quality Manager on quality and food safety issues. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Related degree or diploma and or experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience working with GFSI standards, HACCP, SOP’s, GMP’s would be considered an asset
  • Microbiology knowledge and sampling will be an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all testing related to quality of product and raw material (pH, brix, weights, label verification moisture etc)
  • Product quality Inspection within production environment
  • Document results of inspections and provide guidance on corrective actions
  • Perform regular calibration of weighing scales, and maintenance of lab equipment and maintain records
  • Monitor production/packaging areas/warehouse for GMP compliance
  • Responsible to monitor and record temperature and humidity of all areas in the facility.
  • Responsible to monitor and record the cleaning chemical strength.
  • Perform all activities related to quality checks for raw material, packaging material, production and packaging.
