Honibe’s Annual Flower Giveaway is back for its fifth fabulous year—and we’re planting something extra special to celebrate. What started as a sweet gesture for our beloved bees has now become a pollinator-powered movement that’s transforming Prince Edward Island one garden at a time.

This Year, We’re Growing Even Bigger

Instead of two seedlings, you’ll receive three pollinator-friendly wildflower groupings—a bigger gift for an even bigger impact.

What’s in the Dirt?

Each unlabelled pot may contain a mix of reseeding annuals and perennials, specially selected by our friends at Island Pride Garden Co to attract a whole garden party of pollinators. These include:

🌼 Aster
🌼 Coreopsis
🌼 Cosmos
🌼 Coneflower
🌼 Milkweed
🌼 Bachelor’s Button
🌼 Poppies
🌼 Rudbeckia
🌼 Gaillardia
🌼 And many more wild wonders

Together, they make up a Bee Feed Mix and a Bird & Butterfly Mix, designed to support not just honey bees—but also hummingbirds, butterflies, songbirds, and other unsung heroes of the ecosystem.

Bonus: These plants don’t just bloom—they bounce back. As reseeding varieties, they’ll likely return year after year, bringing colour and pollinators back to your space again and again.

How to Plant Your Wildflowers (Without Messing It Up)

🌞 Find the sun. Wildflowers are sun-lovers, so pick a bright spot with good drainage. No puddles, please.
📏 Plant in clusters. Space each of your three plant groups about 1–2 feet apart. Pollinators love a good hangout.
🌱 Don’t break them up. These are plug plants—keep the roots together to avoid damage.
💧 Water wisely. Give them a good soak, especially during dry spells in the first month.

Soon enough, you’ll have a buzzing, blooming oasis.
