With the winter season upon us, it’s no wonder that we find more reasons to stay in, watch television, and party! From watching hockey with the friends, to a fancy girls’ night shindig, there’s plenty of opportunities to get our snack on.
Chip dips are passé—French onion is so done–so why not take a hint from the Asian food industry, try something new, and open your taste buds to a flavour smorgasbord?
There’s few things more likely to warm a body than the spicy bite of chili peppers. Sriracha—sometimes known as Rooster Sauce—is taking the world by storm, and people are using it in all sorts of crazy concoctions. It doesn’t just have to be for takeout! But if you want to know something really amazing, honibe® honey goes with sriracha like peas and carrots.
Sweet and spicy are practically a match made in heaven! Who knew? Well, now you do! And don’t settle for ordinary sugar!
Most people overlook the delicious possibilities of honey when they’re reaching for a sweet or savoury treat, and they’re missing out on the character and flavour that honey has in abundance. honibe® liquid honeys come in buckwheat, clover, or wildflower flavours, and each has a unique taste that comes straight from the type of pollen collected by the bees.
So leave French Onion at home and try this honeyed Smoky Chili-Lime Sour Cream instead: the sweet fire of chili and honey tangle with the cool sour cream and bright tang of lime in a delightful rush that will set your tongue ablaze!
This sweet-and-spicy sauce will give a roundhouse kick to the face of your old chip-dips. Your guests will love the way the dusky flavour of honey stands out, and you’ll be happy about how quickly it comes together without a lot of muss or fuss.
In less than five minutes, you can whip up this dip for the boys and have plenty of time to watch the game without having to dirty more than a single bowl and your zesting tool.
